Ithycus the Hammerhead

This shark is the neutral messenger between the rulers of Lyraka. He is a friend to all. Noone can say that about the other sharks though. He has quite the sand paper-y voice and is a slow swimmer.

Ithycus doesn't always get things done on time...probably because his eyes are on the sides of his head! And sometimes he just simply swims into things! How he finds so many things to swim into in the middle of the ocean, nobody knows. Pretty much everyone likes Ithycus because he's usually pretty goofy. Ithycus was never known to hold a grudge as he's often forgetful...except where it really counts: his station in life as the messenger between the royalty. He's easily tempted with food so he can't be completely relied upon all the time. Not only that, but he loves music and sticks around for anyone who carries a tune - or even industrial! And sometimes Pinador spots his fin on the surface and insists on talking with him. A ton of things can slow Ithycus down but NOTHING can stop him!

Ithycus is probably the most consistently cheerful of all the sea's sharks. And he will deny it a hundred times - license plates are ABSOLUTELY NOT his favorite afternoon snack. And we all believe him. Why? Because there ARE no license plates in Lyraka. Everyone knows that license plates exist though. The hammerhead has a distant relative on another planet that told him all about it.

Some sharks share a telepathic bond! Ithycus is especially special, though because he shares a psychic bond with the Empress! When he's too distracted to listen carefully to her sea-reports, she asks him to come back to the palace. When Queen Lilliput waits around for Ithycus and he takes forever, she throws a fit! The queen's servants all secretly laugh at how angry she gets over it. But she's smart enough not to mess with a shark.
